- To begin a new game, press the Play button at the right of the board, or F2.
- Now, the computer will reproduce the first sequence (that consist in only one button).
- You can repeat the sequence with the NumPad (The number keys at the right of the keyboard) or the Mouse. Notice that in the default skin of ReCUB 2000 the buttons have the number's position of the NumPad.
- If you hit some wrong button, two indicators appears on the buttons: a diagonal cross ("x") in the wrong button, and a check mark in the button that you should press for a correct sequence. (The cross and the check mark appears in the default skin of ReCUB 2000, other skins may have other indicators). The "mistakes left" counter decreases.
- If you wait too much time between each button pressed, (and the "player time" option is enabed.. see configuration) a watch appears on the next button you should press (The watch appears in the default skin of ReCUB 2000, other skins may have other indicators). The "mistakes left" counter also decreases in this situation.
- If your sequence is correct, the "Score" counter increases and the computer shows the next sequence.
- You can abort the game at any time, pressing the Quit button or F3. See the full short-cut reference.
- When the "mistakes left" counter reaches to zero you lose the game, and if you have a new record, your name will be asked.
- You can also read this Help or the Top-10 scores during a game, pressing the correspondent buttons, but you can't try to modify the Configuration, Skin, Sounds or Music in that moment, you have to quit or lose the game first.
